WASHINGTON, D.C. (April 16, 2024) – DMV-based artist Helen maintains her momentum of mesmerizing R&B-pop tracks with her new single "HIT," available on all major streaming platforms May 24. Teaming up with rapper Nolan Lewis, "HIT" delivers a bold statement of self-confidence and sex positivity. Its seductive rhythm, bouncing beneath Helen's entrancing vocal delivery, proves irresistibly addictive. Blending sonic elements reminiscent of the early 2000s with futuristic touches, the single evokes a fusion of Britney Spears, TLC, and FKA Twigs. The track marks Helen's first time featuring another artist. When discussing the collaboration, Helen shared, “Nolan randomly popped up on my TikTok feed while I was in the process of looking for a rapper for this song and I knew he had to be on it because his sound was exactly what the song needed!” She added, "We're both independent artists from the DMV, specifically from Maryland, which happened by chance!"
